Defining Your Brand
Here is a little homework to help you define and determine your brand.
What you need:
- Brand Notebook
- Pen/Pencil
- Uninterrupted Time (ok maybe 30 minutes if you can sneak away — find a quiet spot away from chaos)
Things to think about:
- Focus on your target audience when answering each question.
- Compile each answer in your Brand Notebook.
- Be honest with your answers, answer each question thoroughly.
Questions:
1. What products and/or services do you offer? Define the qualities of these services and/or products.
2. What makes your products stand out from the competition? What makes your business stand out from the competition?
3. What is the mission of your business?
4. Who is your target market? Who do your products and services attract?
5. What is the tagline of your business? What message does your tagline send to your prospects?
