And we're off to IKEA
aka the most magical place on earth (or at least that’s what I am calling it). Our little Gia starts school next week and she desperately needs a new bed. Originally, we had bought her a transition crib but never bought the parts to actually transition so she has been sleeping in it as a day bed. The poor mattress is so lumpy I don’t know how she gets any sleep. We replaced all of Xander’s bedroom last year so it is definitely time. When asked what kind of bed she wanted, she matter-of-factly replied “a pink one”. Ahh a girl after my own heart! Well, princess you want pink? Pink you shall get!
I love the Mammut series so I think that is what we are going to get. She already has a pink table with a red chair so it matches. The only thing I worry about is her outgrowing it too fast? But really for IKEA prices it would totally be worth it to have for a few years. We can always yard sell it or gift it to a family member with a little girl. I also love the idea of getting a nightstand and little chest of drawers for her….hmm I hope Matilda (aka the jeep) can hold all of this!
