At Southern Belle Farm
May 10, 2010
I think I said in another post that I was going to give the strawberry picking it’s own post? Oh well, my mind wanders sometimes so forgive if I am a bit all over the place. Last weekend, we not only planted our own strawberries but went to Southern Belle Farm to pick some fresh from the vine. It was crazy hot outside but we still had fun. Here are some photos from the day.
Who would have thought to see a peacock on a farm? Oh, it was pretty though…it took everything I had not to try and pick one of those gorgeous feathers off.

Babies were all around the farm…my favorite were the ducklings!

And then there were the strawberries! Gia thought the little ones were so cute.

We even managed to get Xander in on the berry picking. Oh the 12 year old angst…

Garden Update – Things are really starting to grow! The window planters of herbs are starting to sprout and we even have a few strawberries that are almost ripe. Gia still thinks that everything is so cute when it’s growing. I have come to the realization that she has an obsession for thinking anything smaller than her is cute, it is quite hilarious.
